Job summary

Intrepid Solutions and Services LLC is seeking an AWS Cloud / Virtual Infrastructure Technician to provision, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise AWS-based infrastructure for NASIC IT. The role involves Windows/Linux administration, Active Directory, scripting, and automation with Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash in a secure, enterprise environment.

The position is on-site, full-time, with opportunities to grow into cloud automation, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code technologies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and virtual machines.
• Experience administering Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and domain-based authentication.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, HTTPS, SSH, and common infrastructure services.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in enterprise environments with security/change-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, administer, and troubleshoot AWS EC2 and WorkSpaces.
• Use Ansible to automate VM provisioning and config management.
• Administer Active Directory including users, groups, and permissions.
• Manage Windows/Linux systems using AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
• Support NFS/SMB using AWS storage services (EFS/FSx).
• Apply TCP/IP networking and related protocols to troubleshoot.
• Develop administrative automation with PowerShell and Bash.
• Monitor systems and document configurations and corrective actions.
