Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Consulting Principal, Solutions Engineering Lead to design and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions enabling migration, modernization, and platform transformation. You will architect secure, scalable systems and lead client workshops to build sustainable cloud capabilities.

The role blends hands-on delivery with consulting leadership, collaborating with AWS architects, Cognizant leadership, and client teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience with 5+ years on AWS.
• Strong AWS CDK and TypeScript expertise for IAAC patterns and cross‑account deployments.
• Proven enterprise cloud migration and application modernization experience with container tech (Docker/ECS/Fargate, EKS).
• Solid CI/CD and DevSecOps experience with pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI) and security guardrails.
• Demonstrated consulting and client-facing delivery leadership, workshops, and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with Well‑Architected frameworks for complex workloads.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives across on‑prem to AWS, emphasizing ECS/Fargate and serverless patterns.
• Design and build IaC with AWS CDK/TypeScript; manage cross‑account deployments and guardrails.
• Engineer secure DevSecOps pipelines and automate security/quality gates.
• Act as a trusted advisor, leading discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and knowledge transfer to clients.
