Job summary

Inadev Corporation in Reston, VA is seeking a Security Engineer to implement and operate security controls on AWS, conduct security testing, and support continuous monitoring for a federal filing platform.

You will collaborate with DevSecOps, perform remediation tracking, and assist with ATO evidence while ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP requirements. This role is hybrid, requiring some client site presence in the Washington DC area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering experience, including cloud (AWS).
• Experience with vulnerability management and security tooling.
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 / FedRAMP controls.
• Scripting and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure security controls across the AWS environment.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, security testing, and remediation tracking.
• Support ATO evidence collection against NIST 800-53 / FedRAMP controls.
• Operate continuous-monitoring and threat-detection tooling.
• Partner with DevSecOps to automate security in the pipeline.
• Support incident response and forensics.
• Leverage AI-assisted security tooling for detection and triage.
