Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking an experienced Cloud AWS Support Reliability Engineer (SRE) to build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes observability, security, and resilience across enterprise cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities include deploying Terraform-based infrastructure, containerizing tools, and collaborating with teams to deliver reliable services. On‑call duties and strong DevSecOps practices are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing Terraform IaC to provision AWS resources.
• Experience building and debugging CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Hands-on with AWS services: Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, Agile-Scrum, and JIRA practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain AWS infrastructure for cloud hosting.
• Implement observability and monitoring to ensure service value.
• Containerize code and COTS tools; write CI/CD pipelines.
• Take software as a black box and deploy in AWS.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and resolve security vulnerabilities.
