Job summary

EVS Labs is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational foundation. You will manage an AWS environment with ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, and security controls while collaborating with developers across data, GIS, and automation teams.

The role emphasizes building scalable, reproducible infrastructure, implementing CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and maintaining observability and incident response to support rapid, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on AWS experience including ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, SQS, CloudWatch.
• Proven CI/CD expertise with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Infra-as-code practices and security mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Own EVS Labs' AWS environment and provisioning for applications.
• Define infrastructure as code and ensure reproducibility and security.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment processes.
• Establish monitoring, observability, and incident response practices.
• Collaborate across teams to establish platform standards and reliability.
