Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies, LLC is seeking a Platform Engineer to own release management, observability, and cloud infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. The role combines release engineering, monitoring with Dynatrace, and API gateway work.

You will work across AWS services, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform provisioning, and scripting to automate deployments, ensure security, and improve system reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS core services and cloud tooling.
• Hands-on networking with Transit Gateway and Direct Connect.
• Observability with CloudWatch, Grafana, and OTEL.
• IaC and automation using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and shell scripting.
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio.
• Security patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native environments.
• Python for scripting and tooling.
• Agile/Scrum collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement and improve observability and monitoring pipelines.
• Automate deployments using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and Istio service mesh.
• Apply security patches and ensure compliance in cloud-native environments.
