Everforth ECS seeks a Cloud Engineer (Mid) to design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure from Quantico, VA. The role emphasizes security, automation, and operational excellence with IaC tools and full-stack AWS services.

The successful candidate will collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure resilient, compliant cloud environments while managing cost and performance goals. US citizenship and TS considerations apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• US citizenship is required and a Top-Secret clearance is desired.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, encryption (KMS), logging, and compliance controls.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Bash, Python) and IaC tooling.
• Ability to operate with minimal oversight in a project-driven environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS environments following Well-Architected Framework.
• Configure and manage core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch.
• Support multi-environment deployments while ensuring security compliance.
• Implement and manage networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NAT, load balancers) and cost monitoring.
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Patch, upgrade, and lifecycle manage cloud-hosted systems; ensure least-privilege IAM and encryption.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, engineering, and data teams for deployment and stability.
