Job summary

Plus3 IT Systems is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our hybrid-communications team. The role focuses on maintaining and expanding multi-account AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt in GovCloud and Commercial regions.

You will monitor AWS organizations, support tools, and security tooling while collaborating with infrastructure teams to remediate issues and ensure secure, scalable cloud operations. TS/SCI w/CI Poly active clearance is required.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience with Terraform/Terragrunt across multi-account AWS environments (GovCloud and Commercial).
O&M/DevOps operations experience, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on AWS cloud computing experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain, refactor, and deploy multi-account AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt across GovCloud and Commercial regions.
Maintain and monitor the AWS organization and support tools (GitLab, runners, Keycloak, CEGA routers).
Remediate security concerns identified by Security tools, ISSOs, or MDT.
Monitor health of compute, networking, and perimeter rules (Transit Gateway, AWS Network Firewall, AWS WAF).
Maintain admin/user guides and manage logging pipelines and S3 lifecycle policies.
