Job summary

Insight Global seeks an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Product Engineering team, driving cloud modernization and secure DevSecOps initiatives. You will provision and configure AWS resources, build automation, support CI/CD pipelines, and enable application teams through scalable cloud solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams to improve cloud delivery, automation, security, and operational efficiency across containerized services and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience.
• Experience with IaC including CDK and CloudFormation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, or AWS tools.
• Strong automation scripting experience: Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
• DevSecOps focus including vulnerability management, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with containerization and AWS networking concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, VPCs).
• Strong observability experience with CloudWatch, logging, monitoring, or alerting tools.
• Enterprise-level cloud transformation or platform engineering experience.
• SAFe Agile experience in scaled delivery teams.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience (ECS, Lambda, EC2, serverless/cloud-native services)


• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience utilizing AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools


• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or AWS pipeline tools


• Strong automation/scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools


• DevSecOps experience including vulnerability management, IAM, security policies, and cloud security best practices


• Experience with containerization and AWS networking concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, VPCs, subnets, security groups) - Experience creating reusable cloud automation, scripts, templates, or self-service capabilities


• Strong observability experience with CloudWatch, logging, monitoring, or alerting tools


• Enterprise-level cloud transformation or platform engineering experience


• SAFe Agile experience working within scaled delivery teams
