Job summary

Hyphen Solutions is seeking an AWS-focused systems engineer to deploy, administer, and support our cloud infrastructure across multiple environments. You will write IaC templates with CloudFormation or Terraform, build automation, and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments.

You will troubleshoot infrastructure, monitor with CloudWatch, enforce security controls, and collaborate with software security and infrastructure teams to keep systems reliable and scalable in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting AWS infrastructure in production.
• IaC templates using CloudFormation or Terraform and understanding what they deploy.
• Experience with AWS core services: compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, PagerDuty or equivalent).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting instincts and CI/CD involvement.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, administer, and support AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Write and maintain IaC templates (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Build and improve automation scripts to reduce manual work.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Monitor environments with CloudWatch; respond to performance, availability, and security issues.
• Help implement AWS security controls and IAM.
• Participate in infra projects, upgrades, DR procedures, runbooks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with software development, security, and infrastructure teams.
