Job summary

Apex Systems, LLC is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support troubleshooting, knowledge transfer, and the creation of operating procedures and runbooks. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience, with strong IAM, Cognito, and identity federation skills.

Candidates should have IaC experience (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation) and Databricks on AWS expertise, including workspace config, IAM, S3 access, data lake connectivity, CI/CD, and automation.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS IAM, Cognito, authentication, authorization, and identity federation.
• Experience with IaC tools (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Databricks on AWS: workspace config, IAM, S3 access, CI/CD, and data lake connectivity.
• Experience in energy trading or utility analytics environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting support and knowledge transfer.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures and support runbooks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure production readiness.
