Job summary

Acestack in Chicago, IL is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure in an onsite, permanent role. You will work hands-on with AWS core services and serverless patterns to build scalable solutions.

The position emphasizes IaC with CDK, development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and strong scripting in TypeScript or Node.js. A practical, results-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS serverless services and infrastructure as code.
• Experience writing IaC using CDK.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong backend development with TypeScript or Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot AWS serverless services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, RDS.
• Manage AWS networking components: VPC, Security Groups, NACLs and routing.
• Must have exposure to infrastructure-as-code using CDK.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting Experience of AWS Serverless services LIKE Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Cognito, Service Catalog, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, S3
• AWS Infrastructure knowledge VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, NACL, Security Group and networking etc
• Must have exp in AWS CDK.
• An understanding of writing/understanding Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CDK.
• AWS networking Understanding, of AWS load Balancer, VPC Flow Logs
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts along with GitHub Actions
