Job summary

AWS Professional Services is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solutions for clients, blending business goals with technical delivery. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, manage risks, and ensure outcomes align with customer value across AWS architectures and Well-Architected practices.

As you advance, you will expand domain expertise, maintain certifications, and establish best practices while communicating clearly to both technical and non-technical

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud computing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.).
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
• Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards.
