Job summary

Benz Technology in Fort Meade, MD leads the design and implementation of a cloud-based DevOps platform on AWS to support migrating COTS products from on-premises to the cloud. You will establish infrastructure standards, build CI/CD pipelines, and define best practices adopted across both infrastructure and development teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, IaC, and GitLab CI/CD, and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience building GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infra and apps.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch monitoring and metrics.
• Experience migrating COTS products from on-prem to cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS-based DevOps platform architecture.
• Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Author and maintain IaC using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Migrate COTS products from on-prem to AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Establish and enforce DevOps standards across infrastructure and development teams.
• Configure AWS CloudWatch monitoring, alerting, and metrics dashboards.
• Collaborate with multi-team environments to drive adoption of cloud-native tooling and workflows.
