Job summary

Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC) is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design and optimize cloud-native data solutions on AWS, supporting analytics, AI/ML, and LLM initiatives for government contracts.

The role requires DoD 8140.03 readiness, TS/SCI eligibility, and U.S. citizenship. You will work with data scientists, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity teams to implement secure data workflows, governance, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, software development, or related discipline.
1+ years of experience with cloud-native data warehouse or analytics platforms.
Experience preparing data for data scientists and model-ready datasets.
Ability to meet DoD 8140.03 requirements for the applicable work role.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize cloud-native data engineering solutions in AWS.
Develop data ingestion, ETL, transformations, and data lifecycle workflows.
Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Design data architectures to support analytics, model training, and real-time inference.
Develop solutions using AWS services (Glue, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis, Lake Formation, Data Catalog, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
Create REST APIs and web services to expose data to applications and analytics platforms.
