Goldschmitt and Associates LLC is seeking an AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable AWS environments for enterprise and SaaS applications. This remote role prioritizes candidates within commutable distance to the DMV area.

The position emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, and security controls, with collaboration across stakeholders to deliver compliant, reliable cloud solutions for federal-focused projects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing production AWS environments.
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted enterprise and/or SaaS applications.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, highly available AWS architectures.
• Experience with containerized app environments and cloud deployment architectures.
• Experience implementing cloud security, IAM, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Experience supporting cloud environments subject to security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain AWS cloud environments for enterprise/SaaS apps.
• Participate in architecture design and implementation for cloud and applications.
• Manage production, staging, development, and test environments in AWS.
• Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures.
• Implement and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support authentication/authorization mechanisms for apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and improvements.
