Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Manager, Awards and Rankings to join the PR and Communications team within Marketing and Business Development. The role focuses on elevating the firm's profile through nominations, surveys, and awards, with a hybrid schedule based in Dallas, Austin, Houston or San Antonio and periodic office visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, marketing or a related field.
• Strong judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to independently manage high-profile, deadline-driven projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Significant experience in the legal or professional services industry strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience writing and editing for external audiences, with a proven ability to produce compelling, polished and accurate copy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional command of English grammar, usage and style.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance quality and efficiency where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Lead nominations for awards and rankings for the firm and its lawyers.
• Oversee the firm’s strategy and participation in industry surveys and directories.
• Advise firm leadership on opportunities and responses for directories, surveys and awards.
• Interview lawyers to identify compelling narratives and differentiators for submissions.
• Manage an editorial calendar for awards across regional, legal and trade publications.
• Lead the firm’s employee engagement survey strategy and present findings to leadership.
• Prepare lawyers for key interviews with researchers and editors.
• Support publicity for rankings and awards across the firm’s website and marketing materials.
• Coordinate submission strategies and research schedules with business development teams.
