Job summary

Thompson Hine LLP is seeking a Rankings, Awards & Media Relations Coordinator to shape and own a recognition program. You will manage submissions, calendars, and deadlines, drafting compelling entries that showcase firm and attorney achievements.

You will collaborate with attorneys and marketing colleagues, analyze results, and help amplify rankings across channels to enhance the firm’s visibility and reputation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of law firm marketing or communications experience, focused on rankings, directories, surveys, and awards.
• Experience in a large law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong writing and editing skills for compelling submissions.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with tight deadlines.
• Professional communication with attorneys, leadership, publishers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy and execution of the firm’s awards, surveys, and directory submissions.
• Own the Directories & Rankings calendar, deadlines, and results tracking.
• Research new/existing awards and recommend participation based on objectives.
• Draft and edit submissions highlighting firm and attorney achievements.
• Coordinate timelines, approvals, and stakeholder input for submissions.
• Build relationships with editors, researchers, and publication contacts.
