Job summary

Journey Dance Competition in New Jersey is seeking an Awards Coordinator to manage awards setup and presentation during our high-energy weekend events. You will collaborate closely with the Backstage Team to ensure brand standards are met and that dancers are recognized on stage with confidence.

This seasonal role involves travel and a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, proactive attitude are essential for success on the team.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable interacting with children and adults on a fast-paced team.
• Ability to work weekends, travel, and assist backstage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load in/out production equipment and set up your station.
• Label and organize all awards; keep the Awards Table organized and presentable.
• Interact with the Tabulator to obtain all results for ceremonies.
• Prepare the stage for each Awards Ceremony with Backstage Managers and step in when needed.
• Interact with dancers and studio directors in a kind and enthusiastic manner.
• Maintain inventory of all awards items and attend to other duties from the Event Director.
