Job summary

Elizabeth Care Center in Elizabeth, WV, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the clinical team. The LPN provides high-quality nursing care, administers medications, monitors resident conditions, and supports positive resident outcomes.

The successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team, maintain documentation, and communicate clearly with residents and families in a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered West Virginia LPN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly to the team.
• Provide direct nursing care and assist with daily living activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff on care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and providers.
