Job summary

Terrapin House, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Awake Overnight Support Staff Professional to care for a 21-year-old young man with autism in his family home.

This 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift offers a stable Sunday-Thursday schedule, $22.38/hour, and training from an experienced team. The role requires alertness, patience, and the ability to follow established routines to help the client feel safe and supported.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake, alert, and attentive for the entire shift.
• Provide personal care, including diaper changes and hygiene support.
• Assist with repositioning and comfort needs.
• Provide reassurance and support if he wakes.
• Maintain a calm, safe environment.
• Communicate with family and daytime staff.
• Follow established nighttime routines.
• Provide support during occasional challenging behaviors.
