Qualifications

  • At least 21 years old with a valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months.

Job description

Schedule: Sun - Wed, 11 pm - 9 am

Salary: $21.00 per hour

As an Awake Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) or Awake Overnight Home Health Aide (H.H.A.), you will assist in providing daily routine or episodic nursing aide care. Your work will be based in a clinically intensive residential program tailored to meet the needs of adults with brain injuries, behavioral conditions, and complex health needs. In this role, you will collaborate with the individuals we serve, their families, friends, employers, and support staff to positively impact their lives.

Your duties include assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines, helping individuals become more integrated into their communities, and supporting the program to meet high-quality standards. You will employ rehabilitation principles and techniques, including skills training, to help individuals overcome barriers, achieve independence, and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current C.N.A. or H.H.A. certificate valid in Massachusetts
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • At least 21 years old with a valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification within 2 weeks, and MAP certification within 150 days of hire
  • Ability to pass background checks, including CORI, fingerprinting, and driving record
