Perkins, located in Watertown, MA, is seeking Awake Overnight staff to ensure the safety and well-being of students with complex needs. Shifts run 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday.

The role involves direct care, crisis response, and detailed documentation to support residential programs. Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, have at least 1 year of experience with special needs children, and can maintain First Aid, CPR, AED, CPPI, and Sign Language

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children who have special needs.
• Must be able to complete and maintain First Aid, CPR, AED and CPPI and Sign Language (dependent on program).

Responsabilités

• Stay awake and alert during overnight shifts to monitor students.
• Attend to medical and behavioral needs and document emergencies.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure student safety.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and growth.

Schedules are Tuesday through Saturday or Wednesday through Sunday 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

• You will remain awake and alert during your shift to perform routine checks of students in our residential programs.
• You will attend to their direct care, medical and behavioral needs and respond to- and document any emergencies or issues.

• High School Diploma
• 1 years’ experience working with special needs children or an equivalent combination or education and experience
• Ability to complete and maintain First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Crisis Prevention and Physical Intervention (CPPI), and Sign Language (dependent on program needs)

The following shared salary range is what Perkins reasonably expects, in good faith, to pay for the position. The applicable range could differ based on experience and qualification.

$17.68-$28.18
