In this role you will serve as a Field Service Representative (FSR) supporting the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) with on‑the‑shoulder technical assistance for the Saudi AWACS and 707 tanker aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base. Your primary responsibility is to identify, diagnose and repair aircraft anomalies and return aircraft to fully mission‑capable status. You will provide overall air‑vehicle technical support, guidance and expertise, troubleshoot, resolve or assist in the resolution of RSAF AWACS/707 mechanical and structural issues, and instruct RSAF personnel as needed.

This is a long‑term assignment to Saudi Arabia for up to 3 years. The position requires willingness to travel domestically or internationally on short notice, to relocate as required by customer needs, and to maintain an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Employees must obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit for Saudi Arabia (and for any family members who may relocate with the candidate). The employer will not sponsor employment visa status.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance in the normal operation and maintenance of the Saudi AWACS/707.
  • Supplement local training by providing technical guidance and informal on‑the‑job training for aircraft and support equipment.
  • Investigate system and sub‑system issues and analyze hardware and software issues to determine root cause.
  • Resolve technical issues dealing with airframe, mission and ground systems, and support equipment.
  • Operate in person with RSAF personnel, providing hands‑on support, troubleshooting and instruction.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • A current U.S. passport that expires no sooner than May 2026.
  • Minimum 2 years hands‑on maintenance experience with AWACS aircraft.
  • Expertise with AWACS aircraft and ground support systems (excluding the surveillance radar system).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring schematics, and maintenance task procedures.
  • Experience teaching peers in a non‑classroom setting.
  • Willingness and ability to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) on short notice, over a variety of deployment durations.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • Experience using Boeing web‑based Information Systems such as My Boeing Fleet, VECTOR, REDARS, and PSDS.
  • Avionics systems troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous military experience or extensive familiarity with military operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity using Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Illustrated Part Catalogs.
  • Airframe & Power plant (A&P) License.
  • Experience with local customs and practices.
Ex‑Pat Information
  • Candidate must obtain a work visa and meet cultural requirements of Saudi Arabia.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities.
  • Clearances from International Health Services are required; these also apply to any family members who may relocate.
