Wissen Technology is expanding its US footprint and seeks an AVP/VP level Golang or Java Engineer. The role is Hybrid with three onsite days weekly, requiring 5+ years of experience.

You will design and build high-performance, scalable software, work across Windows, Linux, and Unix, and contribute to SDLC, CI/CD, and architectural decisions for enterprise clients. Qualifications

• 5+ years of software design and development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, C/C++, SQL and scripting.
• Hands-on experience on Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Sybase, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Helm.
• Familiar with SDLC and distributed enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software applications.
• Develop complex algorithms and efficient solutions for technical problems.
• Build distributed, transaction-processing systems with focus on performance and scalability.
• Work across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Participate in the SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate solutions and challenges clearly.
• Contribute to code reviews and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps on containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD.
