The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years in commercial lending, strong credit analysis and loan structuring skills, and a proven ability to generate new business through community involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years in commercial lending or commercial banking.
• Proven success in business development and portfolio growth.
• Strong commercial credit analysis and loan structuring skills.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Excellent communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial banking relationships through business development and community involvement.
• Structure and present commercial loan opportunities that meet client needs and Bank standards.
• Manage, retain, and grow an existing commercial loan portfolio.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit risk; partner with Credit Analysts and internal teams.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, renewals, modifications, and covenant monitoring.
• Build long-term relationships with business owners and deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the Southwest Michigan business community.
