Job summary

H.I.G. Capital is seeking an experienced AVP for Investor Services to oversee transfer agency and investor servicing for evergreen funds distributed through the private wealth channel. The role requires strong governance, multiple counterparty coordination, and a focus on scalability and automation.

You will partner with Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Investor Relations, and IT to ensure accurate processing and superior service for RIAs, custodians, and registered brokers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar required.
• 10+ years in transfer agency, fund operations, or investor services with 5+ years in retail investor experience.
• Experience with evergreen investment products and private wealth channels.
• Strong knowledge of RIAs, custodians, broker-dealers, and alternative investment platforms.
• Experience overseeing a third-party transfer agent or fund administrator.
• Strong process improvement, controls, and risk management capabilities.
• Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transfer agency activities: subscriptions, redemptions, onboarding, account maintenance, and investor servicing.
• Manage relationships with third-party administrator and platform providers; monitor SLAs and performance.
• Coordinate monthly subscriptions and quarterly redemptions with multiple counterparties.
• Support connectivity with DTCC AIP and platforms like iCapital and CAIS.
• Onboard custodians and intermediaries; manage cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor volumes, exceptions, reconciliations, and processing timelines; drive resolutions.
• Maintain strong control environment with procedures, metrics, and reports.
• Identify opportunities for automation and straight-through processing.
