Job summary

State Street is seeking an AVP in Transfer Agency and Intermediary Oversight to oversee operations and reporting for mutual funds and financial intermediaries in Boston. You will drive governance, implement improvements, and partner with transfer agents and business partners to meet client needs.

The role requires strong experience in TA/financial intermediary operations, a client-first mindset, and ability to produce board-ready reporting while monitoring intermediary portals and trade activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–8 years of transfer agency or financial intermediary operations experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of DTCC, Mutual Fund Profile II, DST Vision and intermediary portals.
• Familiarity with mutual funds, ETFs and related structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mutual fund operations across multiple transfer agents.
• Review monthly/quarterly intermediary payments such as 12b-1, shareholder servicing and revenue share.
• Lead quarterly intermediary oversight meetings and cross-functional working groups.
• Prepare quarterly board reporting and partner with internal teams and service providers.
• Coordinate intermediary setups with transfer agents and monitor relevant portals.
• Manage end-to-end in-kind trades and product launches with TA partners.
