Job summary

Wealthspire Advisors is seeking an AVP of Software Engineering & DevOps to own software development and release across the firm. You will lead a structured, scalable engineering and DevOps function, connecting development with infrastructure and security to ensure secure, repeatable production delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software engineering/DevOps, 3+ years leading teams, and strong Azure/GitHub automation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, application development, or DevOps.
• 3+ years of leadership of developers or technical delivery teams.
• Proven ability to analyze, debug, and contribute production code.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across internally developed applications, integrations, automation, and services.
• Lead solution build, code development, testing, release, and production stabilization.
• Own CI/CD, build and release automation, environment management, and production readiness.
