Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for risk assessments and services, creating 3–5-year roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
• Design a national delivery strategy that exceeds underwriting and client needs, collaborating with partners to optimize methodologies.
• Refine risk assessments in partnership with underwriting and industry leaders to support profitable business decisions.
• Lead a team of Field Directors to deliver specialized risk assessments across various industry segments.
• Enhance efficiency through strategic operational models, empowering professionals to adapt dynamically.
• Build and manage virtual risk management teams tailored to risk complexity and industry needs.
• Improve industry expertise within the team through evaluations, training, and development initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal partners to improve account risk profiles, retention, and loss ratios.
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration and continuous improvement processes.
• Oversee associate management, including performance, engagement, training, and organizational planning.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in risk management or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Professional designations such as CPCU, CSP, ARM are preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in commercial risk management, with 5-7 years in management roles.
• Deep knowledge of industry strategy, risk management, underwriting, and finance.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively across all levels.

Additional Information

Position reports to Sr. AVP, Risk Management, CL/ESS, leading a team of 8-10 direct reports and 70 indirect reports. Salary range is $143,000 to $283,000, with an expected starting range of $151,000 to $253,000.
