Job summary

The Bank Policy Institute in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Research Analyst to contribute to the analysis of banking, financial markets, and other economic issues conducted by BPI’s research team.

This full-time, exempt role reports to the EVP, Head of Research and requires a bachelor’s degree with strong data analysis and econometric skills; Monday-Thursday in the DC office with Friday remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in economics, finance, computer science, statistics, math, business administration, or related field.
• Ability to pursue graduate study in economics, finance, business, or related field.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with banking and macroeconomic data sources used by BPI researchers.
• Collect and analyze data, including econometric analysis.
• Synthesize data and findings into memoranda and blog posts.
