Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a Compliance Assistant Vice President to handle various compliance-related matters across its investment businesses. The successful candidate will support senior Compliance teams, manage regulatory requests, and provide compliance advice to professionals focused on private credit and corporate bond strategies.

Ideal candidates will have significant law firm experience and a strong background in compliance. Compensation includes a salary between $135,000 and $200,000 based on skills and experience, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a law firm and in a compliance role.
• Law firm experience and fund-formation or regulatory practice preferred.
• Ability to maintain calm under ambiguity and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior Compliance and Legal teams on regulatory matters.
• Draft and review disclosures and communications.
• Coordinate responses to marketing team requests.
• Provide regulatory and compliance advice to investment professionals.

Skills

Excellent communication and drafting skills

Knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory requirements

Attorney with 5+ years experience
