Compensation: $160k - $180k (Depending on experience) + Discretionary bonus

Overview: AVP, Edge Security Engineer on its Network & Security Engineering team. In this high-impact role, you will architect, build, and support the enterprise edge infrastructure and security controls that protect the firm’s digital presence, covering CDN, WAF, and DNS across design, engineering, and operational support. You’ll help shape the edge security strategy and roadmap, independently drive projects, and partner with engineering, architecture, and business teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 enterprise environment.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise edge infrastructure and security controls using CDN platforms (Cloudflare preferred; Akamai and Fastly also welcome).
• Strong hands-on experience with WAF, CDN, and DNS security across design, engineering, and operations.
• Data center network experience.
• 4+ years of experience with enterprise monitoring platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana).
• 3+ years of experience with global load balancing solutions (NS1, AWS Route 53, UltraDNS, Cloudflare Load Balancing).
• 2+ years of experience managing enterprise DNS solutions (Infoblox, BIND).
• 2+ years of experience building infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, Python, or Go.
• 4+ years of experience partnering with development teams and project/program managers to architect and deliver infrastructure solutions.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Secure web proxy experience (Netskope, Zscaler).
• Cloud-delivered security services (Cisco Umbrella).
• Network Detection and Response (NDR) design and implementation (ExtraHop, Vectra, Corelight, Darktrace).
• Enterprise load balancing platforms (F5 LTM, Citrix NetScaler, Avi/NSX ALB).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365.
