Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with substantial relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years consumer or mortgage lending experience, including 3 years in underwriting/processing management.
• Expertise in consumer, home equity, and residential mortgage credit analysis and processing.
• Knowledge of credit union lending practices, policy, regulatory requirements, and investor rules.
• Experience improving lending workflows and leading operational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead consumer and mortgage underwriting and processing, ensuring quality and timely decisions.
• Manage workflow, capacity, and risk with a focus on service standards and controls.
• Oversee documentation, quality control, and funding readiness across loans.
• Coordinate with Loan Sales, Underwriting, Operations and partners for pipeline health.
• Drive workflow improvement and automation while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
