Job summary

Community First Credit Union in Neenah, WI seeks an AVP Mortgage Loan Origination to lead and mentor the mortgage origination team, drive high-quality loan production, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coach Mortgage Loan Originators and monitor pipeline performance to meet growth objectives.

The role blends production leadership with business development, building strong relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners, and partnering with senior management to expand market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive mortgage loan origination experience.
• Previous lending leadership and people-management experience required.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending processes, regulatory requirements, and origination best practices.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and build a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the mortgage team, providing direction and ongoing feedback to achieve production, quality, service, and operational goals.
• Build referral relationships and drive business development with realtors, builders, developers, and community partners; represent the Credit Union at events.
• Grow market presence by executing relationship-building and business-development strategies to expand visibility and market share.
• Monitor and manage the mortgage origination pipeline and analyze production and referral data to improve efficiency.
• Lead collaboration across teams; liaise between Mortgage Origination and Mortgage Operations, and coordinate with compliance, risk, and training to resolve issues.
