Job summary

Barclays Services LLC seeks an AVP, Mobile Backend Developer in Whippany, NJ, to lead the design and delivery of scalable mobile backend services and APIs. Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within a team responsible for the design and development of scalable mobile applications and micro services for the mobile backend.
• Ensure all functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., capacity, availability, response times, etc.) are considered.
• Architect applications with proven design patterns and ensure it is fully secured using authentication and authorization methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and product teams to define contracts and improve API usability.
• Participate in technical implementation planning using agile methodologies to maintain live operations' integrity.
• Use AI-powered tools to inspect errors and provide resolutions within defined SLAs.
• Work with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Ensure the technical integrity and quality of applications throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
• Review test strategies and cases to ensure software quality team cover all the edge cases.
