Job summary

Moody's is seeking an AVP in the CSS Methodology Development Group to lead low and medium- complexity methodology projects. You will collaborate with MDG and rating teams to ensure robust, transparent analytics and author documentation meeting regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a BS, CFA a plus, and strong quantitative skills, with experience in AI concepts and risk-aware implementation. US-based base salary range is disclosed and performance-based incentives apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit analysis, preferably Structured Finance.
• Strong quantitative and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across diverse analytical viewpoints and teams.
• Growing awareness of AI risk management and ethical AI use.

Responsibilities

• Lead low and medium methodology development projects across teams.
• Develop sector and cross-sector methodologies and assessment frameworks using Agile.
• Collaborate with CSS and rating teams for robustness and transparency.
• Author methodology documents meeting internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare submission packages for Methodology Review Group approval.
• Assist with ad-hoc quantitative/analytical projects and ensure policy compliance.
