Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Individual Giving and Foundations to lead a 12-person IG-F team. You will shape major gift and foundation fundraising strategy, coach senior staff, and drive donor pipelines across leadership and principal gifts.

Qualificações

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Ten or more years of progressive experience in major gift fundraising and development management.
• Experience in health system, academic medical center, or hospital fundraising in a large, complex academic or specialty health system environment strongly preferred.
• Track record of leadership in healthcare development programs to bring best practice knowledge and creative solutions to the HSS Development program.
• Solid financial acumen to set financial performance goals for the IG-F team and participate in broader Development goals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the IG-F team to meet its 2026 primary financial goal of raising a combined $30M and to hit KPIs.
• Direct and provide strategic guidance to gift officers focused on building a strong donor pipeline at multiple gift levels.
• Collaborate with Principal Gifts and Campaign teams on strategy for leadership annual, major, and principal gifts.
• Cultivate relationships with medical and administrative leaders to align philanthropic priorities with HSS priorities.
• Create accountability measures to drive fundraising productivity and donor pipeline growth.
