Job summary

Bruin, a leading global alternative investment manager, seeks an AVP, Fund Accounting to join its growing Miami office. You will support a diverse portfolio of alternative vehicles and work closely with internal investment teams.

You will review NAV packages, oversee fund accounting activities, and coordinate financial reporting. The role emphasizes process improvements and working with hedge funds, private credit, and related structures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fund accounting or related experience in a finance environment.
• Strong understanding of NAV reporting, partnership accounting and investor reporting.
• Experience with hedge funds, private equity or other alternative vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly and quarterly NAV packages prepared by third-party fund administrators.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and partnership accounting.
• Review management and incentive/performance fee calculations.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual financial reporting, including audited statements.
• Review investor reporting and capital account statements.
• Assist with fund launches, restructurings and liquidations.
• Drive process improvements and automation across the fund finance function.
