Job summary

State Street Corporation in Boston is seeking a motivated candidate to support the Financing Solutions team, learning analytical and communication skills while assisting Sales and Trading desks with day-to-day activities. In-office presence is required to collaborate across functions.

You will engage with Operations, Technology, and Risk teams on trade matching, settlement, collateral, and client inquiries, while building reporting and data quality processes to improve controls and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a financial services field.
• Client facing experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales & Trading to support financing transactions and post-trade lifecycle events.
• Monitor and oversee key financing activities including returns, recalls, and settlement monitoring.
• Serve as primary liaison between Front Office and Operations, coordinating issue resolution.
• Monitor trade activity, settlements, and positions to identify exceptions and manage risk.
• Support corporate action processing and onboarding activities for new borrower accounts.
• Respond to client, broker, and internal inquiries with exceptional client service.
