Wintrust Financial Corporation in Rosemont, IL, is seeking an AVP to lead the Allowance for Credit Losses (CECL) estimation process within the ACL function. The role focuses on data integrity, model inputs, and producing management and SEC disclosures.

You will supervise data movements, perform variance analyses, and prepare ACL packages and SEC filings, partnering with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and robust controls.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Accounting, Statistics, Finance or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare documentation and lead presentations.
• Knowledge of ASC 326 and CECL concepts; experience with regulatory reporting and SEC disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Review ACL results and variance analyses; coordinate inputs from stakeholders.
• Lead ACL packages and management reports; prepare SEC disclosures.
• Oversee data movement, reconciliations and tool configurations for ACL processes.
