Job summary

Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) in the Greater St. Louis area seeks an Assistant Vice President, District Solutions to strengthen relationships with LCMS districts, congregations, schools, RSOs, and church workers.

You will partner with District Vice Presidents to deliver financial, investment, ministry, and real estate solutions that support ministry growth. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 3+ years in financial services, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration/finance/marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive responsibility in a financial institution or financial environment.
• Experience in business development and providing actionable solutions.
• Active LCMS congregation member and alignment with LCEF mission.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally up to 75%, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with District Vice Presidents to build and maintain relationships with congregations, schools, RSOs, church workers, and district leaders.
• Initiate outreach to support account servicing, engagement, and compliance with high customer-care standards.
• Assist district plans to promote LCEF resources, new investments, lending, and ministry partnerships.
• Support lending activities including loan documentation, maturities, and credit reviews.
• Collaborate across LCEF teams to meet ministry partner needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with district leadership and stakeholders.
• Participate in district events to raise awareness of LCEF resources.
• Assist with district budget planning and goal setting.
• Travel regularly to support ministry partners and events.
