Job summary

Pattern Energy seeks an AVP, Information & Cybersecurity to establish, operate, and continuously improve cybersecurity, technology risk, resilience, AI governance, and critical infrastructure protection.

You will partner with Enterprise Technology, Power Operations, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and executives to embed risk management into operations and growth, balancing reliability, safety, and innovation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across cybersecurity, technology risk, OT security, or resilience.
• Experience leading programs in highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-82, IEC/ISA 62443, CIS Controls.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year cybersecurity strategy aligned with enterprise objectives and growth plans.
• Lead governance, risk reporting, and executive/Board communications on cyber risk and resilience.
• Oversee OT/ICS security, industrial control systems, and critical infrastructure protection.
• Manage third-party cyber risk across vendors, EPC partners, and service providers.
• Provide cyber crisis management, incident response, and business continuity leadership.
