Job summary

Wintrust Commercial Finance is seeking an AVP-Credit Officer to join its underwriting and portfolio management team nationwide. You will underwrite transactions, analyze finance, credit, legal, and business aspects of prospective customers, and interact with clients and capital market partners.

This role offers exposure to diverse industries across the United States, with a competitive salary range ($85,000–$110,000) and bonus eligibility, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite transactions and analyze finance, credit, legal, and business aspects.
• Interact with customers and capital market partners to facilitate underwriting.
• Conduct industry, business, and collateral research.
• Prepare investment write-ups and periodic reviews with recommendations.
• Coordinate documentation, lien perfection, and closing activities.
• Spread financial statements into WCF’s standard format.
• Work with Legal and Operations to fund, report, and service transactions.
• Perform annual reviews of obligors and assist in semiannual packages.
• Adhere to established WCF policies and procedures.
