Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
10+ years of progressive commercial property and casualty claims experience.
Proven leadership with ability to mentor and retain talent.
Advanced knowledge of claims operations, coverage analysis, litigation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the Casualty Claims function and set strategies.
Oversee high-severity and litigated claims, guiding coverage and defense.
Direct litigation activities and manage defense counsel and strategies.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across the team.
Collaborate with underwriting and product management on coverage and risk initiatives.
Lead talent development, coaching, and performance management for claims staff.
Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting obligations are met.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve profitability and customer outcomes.
