Job summary

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a seasoned Assistant Vice President, Asset Management to own each asset’s business plan from acquisition through disposition in its multifamily portfolio.

You will oversee investment strategy execution, financial analysis, and performance reporting, partnering with property management and executives to optimize operations and returns. Hybrid on-site/off-site in Beachwood, OH with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, economics, or related field (equivalent multifamily experience considered).
• 5+ years of multifamily real estate experience in asset management, property operations, or investment management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to interpret property financial statements, budgets, forecasts and underwriting.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly to portfolio properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of asset business plans post-acquisition and compare performance to underwriting.
• Hold managers accountable and challenge underperforming results.
• Evaluate capex, value-add programs, budgets, rents, and ROIC.
• Monitor property performance, budgets, NOI, cash flow and investor reporting.
• Support due diligence and improvements to asset management reporting and processes.
