Job summary

MetLife Internal Audit is seeking a senior leader to oversee data governance, AI governance, and related risk coverage across the organization. The role focuses on audit execution, advisory reviews, and establishing guidelines for enterprise data and AI controls.

Collaboration across Global Risk Management, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Emerging Technology teams is essential. Location is hybrid with in-office days, and the position offers potential incentive compensation and long-term

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting experience with data governance, AI governance, and AI/data platforms.
• Ability to partner across global teams and communicate complex audit results.
• Experience leading risk assessments and assurance reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree and professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments and align audit coverage across regions.
• Lead advisory and assurance reviews, evaluating risks and opportunities.
• Establish guidelines for the audit capabilities, guiding regional teams.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support Audit Committee communications on the department’s coverage and results.
