Job summary

The Hartford is seeking an accomplished IT leader to drive the Employer Benefits technology strategy and modernization, reporting to the CIO of Employer Benefits Technology. You will own the technology roadmap, lead AI-first practices across product delivery and operations, and guide agile execution to deliver critical capabilities for the Employer Experience value stream.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in technical software solution development and engineering leadership.
Experience leading complex portfolios through transformation such as digital or large platforms replacement.
Experience leading legacy to modern application transitions, including migration of applications to cloud.
Excellent communicator who can translate technology concepts into business language for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Accountable for end-to-end technology strategy and transformation of Group Benefits engineering assets.
Lead adoption of AI-first engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, and speed to market.
Drive cloud-native, API-driven technology solutions in partnership with Architecture teams.
Establish modern DevSecOps practices to improve reliability, security, and developer experience.
