Job summary

Hyland is seeking an Associate Vice President of Security Engineering & Operations to lead a global, AI-enabled security program. You will own strategy, architecture, and execution across SOC, cloud security, and vulnerability management, partnering with engineering and compliance teams.

Reporting to the CISO, you will scale the function while embedding security into automated workflows. The role demands senior leadership, deep DevSecOps expertise, and a proven track record in SaaS security,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a Security Operations Center (SOC) delivering threat detection, incident response, and forensics capabilities.
Champion AI/automation adoption across security operations to scale coverage.
Design enterprise security systems including zero trust, network segmentation, and identity security.
Lead vulnerability management programs with prioritization and release gates tied to business risk.
Set the vision and roadmap for the Security Engineering & Operations function, developing leaders and budgets.
Escalation point for complex security issues and collaborate with stakeholders to align security investments.
