Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, Business Consultant for the Independent Advisor Network to lead, coach, and develop financial advisors within your region. This leadership role supports growth, succession planning, and advisor satisfaction while promoting adoption of key tools and services.

You will partner with the sales organization to recruit advisors, manage regional practices, and help drive outsized growth. This position requires frequent travel and strong relationship skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial services experience.
• FINRA Series 7,66 (or ability to obtain within 120 days).
• 3+ years of experience in branch/field-based sales leadership roles.
• Ability to travel visiting branch offices and recruit meetings.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain deep advisor relationships with high retention and satisfaction.
• Coach and drive growth through sales strategy in your region.
• Plan teaming and succession opportunities, merging teams with similar practices.
• Recruit advisors by educating them on the mission and benefits of LPL Independent Advisor Network.
• Collaborate with Consultants and internal partners to increase tool adoption (financial planning, advisory, high net worth services).
• Drive growth metrics (Same Store Sales, NPS, Net New Assets).
• Facilitate onboarding of new advisors/teams to the network.
